Blue Bird’26 (Chapter 4)

Favorite Blue Bird ’26 is a series of spinning rods that remains primarily focused on micro jig fishing. The specialization of the series stays true to its roots — precision-engineered performance for light lure applications.

Each model within the lineup is developed with a clearly defined purpose, fully reflecting the brand’s philosophy: every rod is designed for specific fishing conditions and specific tasks.

The updated Blue Bird ’26 range incorporates the latest trends in rod building — including advanced blank characteristics, modern materials, and optimized actions — while also taking into account the specifics of micro jig fishing in Ukraine. This ensures maximum comfort and efficiency when fishing with ultra-light jigs.

Thanks to the precise positioning of each model, anglers can accurately select a rod that perfectly matches their individual fishing style and conditions. The renewed Blue Bird ’26 rods have been field-tested by professional anglers across various types of Ukrainian waters, allowing each model to be finely tuned to local environments and real-world fishing demands.

Lineup

602XUL‑HS up to 3g

A transitional model between Nano and SUL (Super Ultra Light). Designed for anglers who are not ready to step down to the Nano class but want to explore a more delicate finesse approach. Essentially an SUL Ex-Fast action rod tuned to a lighter, more refined range.

Primarily intended for close-range perch fishing with the lightest weights and passive lures. Equipped with a thin, high-sensitivity solid tip for precise bite detection and controlled micro presentations.

Optimized for accentuated lure animation: short tip twitches, sharp micro-lifts, dotted retrieves, and stationary tip vibration techniques that keep the lure working in place.

682SUL-HS up to 4g – designed for nearshore perch fishing with light weights and passive lures. Focused primarily on perch applications where sensitivity and precise lure control are essential.

Equipped with a thin, high-sensitivity solid tip for accurate bite detection and consistent feedback in light jig scenarios.

Optimized for active, accentuated animation techniques: short tip twitches, sharp micro-lifts, dotted retrieves, and controlled stationary tip vibration to keep the lure working in place.

Ultra Light — the core of classic ultralight fishing

The foundation of the ultralight range, combining sensitivity, control, and versatility for modern micro jig techniques.

732UL-HS (up to 5g)
Primarily positioned for perch fishing with passive soft baits and creature lures. Designed for accentuated animation techniques — short, sharp tip twitches and dotted retrieves that trigger neutral fish.
Features a stiff solid tip, delivering precise lure control and enhanced feedback during aggressive micro presentations.

762UL-T (up to 7g)
A classic, versatile micro jig rod suitable for a wide range of lures and retrieve styles.
Equipped with a tubular tip, offering improved casting distance, cleaner blank recovery, and balanced feedback for bottom-oriented techniques.

732L-T (up to 12g) – a true all-round model and one of the best-sellers in the lineup. A versatile light rod suitable for boat fishing or shore fishing on small to medium-sized waters. The action allows effective jig fishing while also handling hard baits such as воблери comfortably.
Equipped with a tubular tip, providing balanced sensitivity, solid casting performance, and clean blank recovery.
