The U1 is manufactured at one of YGK’s factories from a Japanese high molecular-weight polyethylene called IZANAS (formerly known as Dyneema). The H-Grade PE material ensures optimal softness and high wear resistance, while the High-Straight Strength Technology provides exceptional strength and durability under stress. All this enables it to be used in various fishing conditions. Extra special impregnation makes the surface of the braided line smooth and slippery, thus reducing water absorption. It also reduces friction in the guides, increasing the casting range. CRT (Color Resistance Technology) makes the color resistant to ultraviolet rays and other unfavorable factors.
